A new film by Jed Rigney, Fools On The Hill, will have its Connecticut premiere in a Connecticut Film festival screening on Wednesday, July 17, at 7 p.m. at the Bethel Cinema, 269 Greenwood Avenue.
The film follows Jerrol Lebaron, founder of InkTip, a company that connects screenwriters with producers in Hollywood, as he explores how representative government has been working on both state and federal levels. According to the filmmaker, “Jerrol found that the one common denominator shared by politicians who are not acting in the best interests of their constituents is a lack of honor, honesty and integrity for the people they represent.”
The feature-length documentary shows how Mr. Lebaron attempts to require politicians to actually read the bills they are passing — which, strangely, is not currently required anywhere in the U.S., he learned.
